Delivering with care and attention

At Amode no matter what you order you will receive our excellent white glove delivery service as standard. We work very hard to ensure the highest level of service standards from the moment you place your order with us to the point you receive your delivery and beyond. So what can you expect from our delivery service?

We keep you updated
We will update you about all the important milestones from the point you place your order so that you know when your order has arrived into the UK and when it is ready to be delivered.

We will always call you to book in a delivery date
You won’t get a generic, impersonal text message or email saying that we’ll be delivering on such and such day. You will get a telephone call, from a human (not one of those pre-recorded robots) who will call you to arrange a delivery date & time.

You can choose the day and timeframe that suits you
Our delivery team are flexible when it comes to days and times. We deliver from Monday to Friday so when one of our team rings to book in a delivery you will be sure to find a day and timeslot that suits you.

You don’t need to wait around all day
All our deliveries are timed deliveries, which are due to arrive to your address within a 2 to 3 hour timeslot. So you don’t need to take a whole day off work whilst you wait around all day without knowing when your delivery will show up.

You can request a pre-call on the day of delivery, if you need one
Simply request a pre-call at the time we book in the delivery date and you will receive a call either 1 hour or 30 mins prior to delivery.

We have a 99% success rate
Amode has an industry smashing delivery success rate of 99% (the industry average is 85%). Because of our high delivery success rate you are highly unlikely to receive any delays with delivery from Amode, because we take as much action as we can prior to delivering to you to avoid or pre-empt any potential problems.

You will get a 2 man delivery team, as a minimum
When we deliver any piece of furniture to you, whether it’s a tiny side table or a large sofa you will always have at least 2 men on the job (we have in the past sent 4 or even 6 men to some bigger, more challenging heavier deliveries).

We will bring the furniture into whatever room you want it in
Living room, bedroom, hallway, loft, conservatory, kitchen? Wherever you like it, we will put it. Yes, it’s very heavy, but we don’t mind!

The packaging gets to go too
Our delivery guys will remove all of the packaging from your furniture and take it away with them to be disposed of responsibly. This means you’re not stuck with a massive heap of cardboard boxes, bubble wrap, plastic sheeting or wooden crates that you will have no chance of fitting into your wheelie bins.

We offer 1 week storage free of charge
If you are on holiday, or are having building work or for some reason are not able to take delivery straight away, then don’t worry – we offer free storage for 1 week for all your furniture. If you need us to store your furniture any longer than this then we are able to hold the furniture for as long as you need for a fee of £35 per week, per CBM.

Pass the screwdriver
Full furniture assembly is included within our delivery service for standard furniture models. This includes assembly of non-fitted furniture models such as beds, dining tables, drawers, sideboards and tv units to name a few. Our highly skilled delivery team will put together all of your furniture so that you don’t need to fuss over assembly instructions, spare parts and tools.


Assembly & Installation

Our standard delivery service includes standard assembly and set up of furniture in the room of your choice and removal of packaging materials.

Installation of complex furniture for items such as bookcases or wall hanging of mirrors / artwork is not included in the standard delivery price. Quotes may vary depending on the size or complexity of the installation or assembly. Please contact us for an individual quote for this service.

Lead Times

Most of our made to order furniture will have an average leadtime of 10-12 weeks and in some cases it can take longer. The lead-time is the number of weeks we expect your order to arrive into the UK warehouse. After your order arrives to the warehouse it will be delivered to you within the timeframe shown in the table above.

August & Christmas Shutdown

During the entire month of August all furniture manufacturers in Italy, and most of Europe, are closed for their annual summer holidays. Orders placed in the run up to August, and within the month of August will have their delivery leadtimes affected. Orders placed in August will mean that the leadtime quoted for your order will be effective from the 1st of September. Orders placed in the 4 to 8 weeks leading up to August will have their leadtimes effected on a pro-rata basis.

During the month of December manufacturers have between a 2-3 week break. Production is stopped during this period, so if you order is being produced between this period please bear in mind that this can affect your standard leadtime. We will have leadtimes stated on your order confirmation to ensure there is no confusion.

Cancellations Or Returns

Made to order furniture: At Amode the majority of our furniture is made to order. At the point you place your order you have a 2 working day cooling off period where you are able to cancel your order and receive a full refund. After this period no cancellations can be made as your furniture will have commenced production.

New 'From Stock' orders can be returned within 14 days of delivery provided they have not been assembled and are returned in their original packaging and in a resaleable condition.

Ex-Display/clearance furniture: The items for sale in our clearance category page are either ex-showroom models or ex-photo shoot models. These items will be 'sold as seen' and will either be on display in our showroom or in our warehouse. These items are 'sold as seen' and we recommend viewing before ordering, however a full detail on the condition of the furniture will be noted on the product description. All clearance/ex-display models are sold as seen and as such do not come with any guarantee and returns are not accepted.
